Mr. Giant has kidnapped the brilliant Dr. Van Kohler and is planning to use the Doctor's

Weng Weng is a lover, fighter and master spy. This movie got me off of hard drugs thanks to it's uplifting message that the lava flows hotter in the Phillipines, Praise the lord. They should have come out with more of these movies.

If terrorists don't want to get killed, then don't mess with AGENT '00' WENG, comes accross like a mixture of CHARLES BRONSON and STEVEN SEAGAL in his quest to bring down the crime syndicate

Ο Weng Weng έχει παίξει και σε άλλες ταινίες τον πράκτορα 00, κι η φιλμογραφία του περιλαμβάνει ταινίες-κολοσσούς όπως ‘Chopsuey Met Big Time Papa’ και ‘The Cute.. the Sexy n’the Tiny’.

Η κινηματογραφική παραγωγή στις Φιλιππίνες προφανώς αρέσκεται σε παρόμοια ριμέικ. Υπάρχουν πάνω από 6.000 φιλμ γυρισμένα στην γλώσσα Tagalog. Ειδικά στα ‘60s ήταν σύνηθες φαινόμενο οι διασκευές σε γουέστερν και φιλμ του James Bond. Όλα αυτά μέχρι το 1972- από κει κι έπειτα το καθεστώς Μάρκος χρησιμοποίησε το σινεμά για προπαγανδιστικούς λόγους. Σήμερα ο γνωστότερος κινηματογραφικός εκπρόσωπος τους είναι ο Brillante Mentoza (μ’αυτό το «βρώμικο», ρεαλιστικό σινεμά που θυμίζει την πιο ακραία εκδοχή του Larry Clark). Φέτος πήρε το βραβείο Καλύτερου Σκηνοθέτη στις Κάννες για το ‘Kinatay’.
